ARCADIS (EURONEXT: ARCAD), an international consulting and engineering company, announced that Kevin Kehres has been named senior project manager in the Akron, OH office. He will play a key role in the Seiberling Way (Eastgate) project for the city of Akron as well as other major projects.

With over 20 years of experience in the management and design of highways and streets, Mr. Kehres offers ARCADIS a broad spectrum of expertise in roadway design, plan preparation, project management and design/build processes. He has completed Ohio Department of Transportation prequalification training for plan development, lighting, signing and pavement markings as well as maintenance of traffic.
Mr. Kehres has also assisted communities in applying for and obtaining project funding and recently completed several urban roadway improvement projects, including the award-winning Quigley Road Connector in Cleveland and the Tuscarawas Street Improvement project in Canton.  He holds a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Akron and is a registered, professional engineer in the state of Ohio.

Mr. Kehres' background in the preparation of final contract plans and construction bidding documents and design review for rural highways, urban street improvements and interstate projects provides ARCADIS with a distinct advantage in planning and plan development.
